We take our Fold 1s on every camping trip. They fold up neatly in our RV and are perfect for exploring around campsites. The battery lasts all day, and the folding design saves so much space. Couldn’t ask for a better travel companion.
I travel a lot in my RV, and the Fold 1 has been a game changer. It folds up quickly and fits perfectly in my trunk. Super lightweight but still feels sturdy. I can easily take it anywhere — city rides, beach paths, or just exploring new places.
I needed lite weight and size to fit in my 2025 Sentra trunk which it does and its so easy to pick up. I also wanted the torque sensor so I could decide how much work I wanted to do. I found it on sale even lower than $1599 ($1419 out the door) so I pounced on it, and Im glad I did! I ride the same scenic trail every day that follows the Wabash river and its mostly in the country 7 miles each way. The bike is quiet and shifts really well. I ordered a new seat and the only improvement I would like to see is being able to raise the handles like the seat would be more enjoyable ride for me! Otherwise, it's a great foldable bike! At 64 and retired it's great to get out every day and a huge advantage for me is that biking has really helped my A1C and why I wanted the torque sensor. So far, I have to say it's a very nice bike!
I went to test ride a Fold 1 today and make sure it's light and small enough to fit and lift in and out of my camper van's under bed bike compartment. Ended up bringing it home.
My husband is a much stronger biker than I am. I wanted and e bike so that he could go as fast as he wanted and I could keep up. Neither of our cars can have a receiver hitch, so I needed to be able to put it in my Mini. I am also 66 years old and osteopenic, so a heavy e bike was just not a great option. I just did my first long ride with the carbon fold 1 and I can't stop smiling. I was able to keep up easily in Eco mode, and never had to go to higher assist, so I got a good workout but could go so much faster. We did 28 miles (still have 1 bar) and I didn't hold my husband back. Would be nice if it had a longer range, but realistically I probably wouldn't go farther anyway, and if I did it is light enough I could still keep going with out assist. Love It. Ride is comfortable and doesn't have more technology than I really need. Will also use this regularly instead of my car for errands. Very happy with my purchase.
