I had an issueswith my seat and emailed customer service at Urtopia. Stella responded promptly and got my issue fixed quickly. I love my Urtopia bike and so far the Customer Service has been fantastic.
Thanks to Stella and the folks at Urtopia Support. They cleared up my confusion about the battery charger without making me feel like a fool. I really appreciate both the kindness and help!
I would give 6 stars if I could. I researched e-bikes for over a year before deciding on the Urtopia Carbon 1 Pro. I’m never looking back. Not only is the bike crazy fun to ride, but ACTUAL HUMAN customer service has been incredibly responsive to my questions. The Chatbot is even useful. Forget the other thousand e-bikes out there. Urtopia has what you’re looking for and they’ll make sure you’re happy with your experience.
My Urtopia Joy has surprised me in the best possible ways. Fat bikes usually feel oversized and annoying, but this one flips the script. It’s the “un–fat bike”: featherlight, low step-over, clean 20×3 tires, and somehow still capable of hauling a serious payload. It has all the utility of a big rig without any of the heaviness. It pedals effortlessly, the responsiveness and speed control from pedaling effort via the torque sensor is especially impressive, it's comfortable, maneuvers through tight spaces, looks like art in motion, and is light enough to lift over curbs or up stairs without thinking twice. It just nails the balance. I’ve lost count of how many people stop or slow down to say, “What is that? It’s beautiful.”
The buying experience was just as impressive. It arrived in three days, the tray packaging made unpacking and assembly almost too easy, and the bike was flawless out of the box. When I reached out with questions and accessory requests, customer service—shoutout to Ding—responded within hours and had everything shipped the next day.
With over 400 miles of commuting, errands, and grocery hauling behind me, the Joy has proven its power, reliability, and a nearly 50‑mile range. The name fits—it really is a Joy!
I love the Utopia folding bike. I needed a minor part replaced and they shipped it quickly.
First I have had several Urtopia bikes starting with the carbon 1 then there second model carbon 1s then chord model and now the Fusion Pro.
I ride a lot and have put about 10,000 miles on Urtopia bikes. They are very well made and they have always been there when I needed something. And they offer a very generous 2 warranty on their bikes and I can tell you they 100% stand by there products.
Now let's talk about there bikes. I just got Fusion Pro and I absolutely love it. I added the extra external battery and now I have 120 miles of range to ride. This bike is so well designed and can't wait to put many more miles on it
bought the Carbon Pro-1 (priced at $1,999 at the time). I opted for the version without the fingerprint scanner and Bluetooth extras—honestly, I prefer to keep unnecessary electronics out of my vehicles. A Bluetooth speaker on a bike feels like a bit much.
The bike weighs around 37–39 lbs. It’s manageable to carry on a Saris Bone mount, though it still feels heavier than my regular mountain bike. That said, it’s impressively sleek—unless you’re specifically looking for the battery housing, it passes for a standard hybrid. No unwanted attention on the trails.
Power delivery is smooth, with seamless transitions between assist levels. I use it mainly for commuting on a mixed trail—some gravel, some incline, but mostly paved. Tour mode handles most of it, and I switch to Smart when the path is undulating. The motor is quiet enough that you barely notice it unless you’re listening for it.
I’ve reached a max speed of about 21 mph & with a mix of Tour and Smart, I’m getting roughly 22–25 miles per charge.
My one gripe: I wish the battery released upward. I dropped it once—fortunately, no damage to the carbon frame.
Overall, I’m very happy with the bike and looking forward to ditching the car for my commute. That said, I’ve only had it for a month, so longevity is still an open question. With so many brands out there, at some point you’re just placing your bet and hoping it pays off.
I reached out too Urtopia customer service to inquire about the process for removing the rear wheel of my Carbon Fusion Pro. They did not have a procedure on file but within minutes of my request they made a video and emailed it to me illustrating the step by step process for removing and reinstalling the wheel. That is amazing responsiveness and customer service 👍 👍
Thanks Urtopia Team !!!

I was lucky to get Stella as my product support assistant. She always responded with technical advice to get my bike working again. Because of her, I am now confident this bike will be propelling me down the road again.
Thank you Stella.
Great bike. Third one. Just needed tech service for setting up the app. Great fellow from China zoomed with me and fixed issue in no time. It was fun chatting half way around the world.

My whole buying experience has been five stars. The responses to my questions and issues were prompt, professional and generous. I was made to feel that I am a valued customer through out my buying experience.
When I rode my first E bike in 2024, I knew that I had to have one.
I started riding bikes at 5 years old and when I was 6, we moved to a house where my backyard abutted a professional BMX racetrack. By the time I was in 4th grade, I was customizing and repairing bikes, with my first real bike being a chrome Mongoose Pro Expert that I saved up to buy way back in 1985. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve never lost that BMX spirit- at just a little over 50 years old, and as a woman, I still love flying and riding rough, but it’s become a challenge to find bikes that I can ride for enjoyment for more than a short while. I am a smaller sized person at just 5‘4“, so I’m really not comfortable on most larger sized bikes.
Most E-bikes are very heavy! In fact, both of the E bikes I sampled weighed 100 lbs (Crazy!!!). They hurt to ride. I’m not just somebody who lays on the throttle, I ride bikes like they are meant to be ridden- I pedal!
So for over a year, I performed some serious research. I realized that I needed a bike that was dynamic, that had a quick release seat, that had some suspension, I wanted variable speeds with a proper derailleur, I wanted a true throttle sensor, various levels of pedal assist, I wanted a bike that was under 50 lbs so that I could easily pack it into my car or handle it over jumps and rough terrain, that had fat knobby tires that didn’t also add a tremendous amount of weight, that didn’t have a clunky and aesthetically ugly, giant battery hanging off of it but that had good range, that could really cook if I needed it to go fast (I love the turbo feature that shuts the throttle off entirely and is completely powered in my ability to pedal fast (have gotten it up to 26.2 MPH), and I wanted handlebars that I could angle in different positions to create the best, most comfortable ride.
I quickly realized that my needs were very difficult to find; in fact, they were nearly impossible- until I found Urtopia Joy Carbon.
I love this bike. I beat the hell out of it, taking it through very sandy, variable conditions in Southern NJ. From street to trail, this bike delivers. It has nimble handling and can take a real beating, trust me, I’ve truly pushed it. The hydraulic disc brakes ensure the bike stops on a dime, which is very important. I can maneuver it like a BMX, as well also being able to haul my gear for longer trail rides. I love the 8-speed thumb shifter, the zero-latency motor, and the quality, name-brand components.
Cons-
The only downsides that I’ve seen are that the front fender is a little noisy, so I took it off. And the kickstand has got to go! It’s a great idea and does a great job of being a kickstand; however, it hangs way too low and gets caught easily on anything on the ground that is greater than 4 inches. It’s actually a dangerous nuisance that should be redesigned entirely- but that can also come off the bike which I would recommend if anyone is going to ride the way I do, but does require a tool that is not included with the bicycle. I’m also not sure why the crank arms are so long! I have to remember to make sure that when I am taking a turn, the side I’m leaning into must be pedal-side-up, or it can easily hit the ground and my feet with it. This can be exceptionally dangerous if riding at a higher speed. So I am considering replacing the crank arms in the future.
It was extremely easy to assemble and only took me about 15 minutes to complete once I unpacked the contents. battery charges quickly and give me a range of 45-50 mi if I’m in Eco mode, pedaling while enjoying a little bit of a boost.
Since I spent a lot of time on the West Coast, I’ve been feeling a loss without my bike, so I just ordered a second one for when I’m out here- Bi-Coastal Urtopia! And truly, what a JOY! I would say that the average rider will have an extremely pleasant experience and I would recommend this bike to any woman or anyone who is of a smaller stature and needs a bike they can easily handle, and that will deliver in performance and comfort.
I use the Carbon Fold as a daily commuter to work via the Metro trains in the Los Angeles area. The bike is easy to lift/fold if needed on a train, has excellent brakes and the integrated taillight and headlight work very well. My biking portion of my commute , is about 16 miles round trip. I charge at work, and generally ride in the Smart mode, and the battery has 2 bars (out of 5) capacity left on a round trip , but I have a slight incline one way, so the battery is fine for my work/home trips. Charging usually takes 3-3.5 hours to go from 2 bars to full charge, so it pretty quick.Im 6’1” , and fully loaded with backpack, lock, handlebar spares kit, I’m probably at the upper limit of weight, but the Fold is very nimble and does very well at my weight. I’ve had a few flats, and both the front and rear tires are easy to take off, and to change a tube, make sure you have two tire spoons , extra tie wraps to secure the power wire to the frame for the rear hub, and you’ll be on your way in no time. I do not have a throttle , but the power hub motor is very seamless , effortlessly kicks in , and with my cadence, 78-82RPM, I see between 17.7-18.2 mph in Smart mode. As noted , the brakes are phenomenal in bringing the bike stopped in just a few feet at those speeds, very reassuring. I have had zero issues with any components( make sure you snap the folding latches in place before riding off ) or electronics. Also, there is no derailleur protector, so I always try to store the bike on the kickstand side in my hatchback, to prevent damage to the derailleur . I would give the Carbon Fold a 9.5/10 for riding .
Very impressed after my inaugural ride on my new carbon classic and first ebike. They really thought of nearly everything. Different boost modes, sufficient gear range, disk brakes, comfortable seat, throttle, and light,
Light light. I can even use my old hanger rack. My
Only minor complaints are that the charging port is missing a flat side so its hard to guide it into place. And the key requirement to remove the battery should be optional. In a world of e keys it seems a throwback to keep track of keys

71 year old grandma here. Unboxed and assembled new Urtopia bike in about 30 mins. Love it, Color is prettier than the photos. Lightweight and beautifully engineered. Love that i can easily put it in my car, great alternative to my Aventon Pace 2.
I enjoy the overall feel of the Fusion Pro. At 70 years young I feel confident & comfortable with the overall experience of the ride. The front suspension fork smooths out the ride on uneven surfaces. The torque sensor makes for a perfect ride and the thumb throttle ads to an exciting ride! I have the blue one and have gotten rave reviews from lots of my biking friends! I couldn’t be happier!

I was riding a regular inexpensive street bike converted to e-bike. It had huge battery and motor that added lots of weight. Now that I’m loading my bike alone, I needed something much lighter and chose the carbon classic step through. My local trail has a long, steep incline about a mile long. I was worried it didn’t have enough power to make it up that hill until I accidentally used the smart mode. WOW! It flew up that hill in 6th gear. This bike is super smooth and quiet, easy to lift to bike rack and all the controls are very easy to access and simple to use. I’m over 60 and absolutely love this bike. Very happy with it.
Best e-bike for the price. I’ve been riding this bike for the past year and about 2,000 miles and I’m very pleased with the smoothness of the ride and shifting through the gears. This is my 4th e-bike and the best.
The Fusion GT is easily the most powerful e-bike I’ve owned. The dual motors make climbing hills effortless, and the bike feels very stable even at higher speeds.
I’ve used it on city streets, gravel paths, and longer weekend rides, and it performs well in all situations.
For riders who want performance and versatility, this bike delivers.
The Fusion Pro offers plenty of power for city riding while still being comfortable for longer trips.
The suspension fork helps smooth out rough roads.
Living in a busy city means I’m always looking for ways to move around more efficiently. I originally bought the Carbon 1 ST mainly for commuting, but it quickly became my go-to transportation for almost everything.
The step-through frame makes riding very convenient, especially when wearing everyday clothing. I also appreciate how lightweight the bike feels when moving it around or parking it indoors.
The smart features are another highlight. Having connectivity and built-in technology gives the bike a modern feel while still keeping the riding experience simple.
It’s become one of the most practical purchases I’ve made in a long time.
