Urtopia Carbon 1 Pro Ebike - Sleek, Full Carbon, Lightweight, Smart

As a returning Urtopia customer, I couldn’t be happier with their bikes! I started with the Chord X, which I loved so much that I later bought the Carbon Pro for myself and passed the Chord X to my wife. Both bikes are lightweight, perfect for exercise, and an absolute joy to ride.

Also their customer service has always been incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Urtopia continues to impress me, and I highly recommend their bikes to anyone looking for a great ride!

I did alot of research before buying my eBike. I needed something light weight and portable/foldable so that I could throw it in the back of my mid-size SUV and take with me. I'm a big guy, so I need a powerful motor. I thought I would need a throttle, but in reality, throttles make you lazy, and you tend to pedal less. This bike does not have a throttle, but it has a torque sensor, and it almost reads your mind: as you pedal faster, it gives you more electric power. Truly a thrill to ride, unless you want a more "scooter" experience. The fit and finishes are all high quality, though my unit has a tiny flaked off edge of yellow on the carbon fiber frame where it folds. I think this will be easily masked with some automotive touch up paint. The cables are for the most part hidden in the carbon frame. The fold up sequence is simple and intuitive and fast. Two magnets on the front and back wheels help keep the bike folded, as the hinge only locks in the riding position, not the folded position. The integrated front and back lights are well done, but when you add a back cargo rack and basket, the red light on the back of the frame is obscured. Urtopia: on the next version, add a red light on the back of the upper seat post, for better visibility. The ride is stiff (no shocks) but extremely agile with the 18" wheels: turns on a dime. The seatpost has cm markings so you can remember where your sweet spot is, but in the next version, I would add those markings to the front of the seat post where they would be more visible than current position in the back of the seat post. What else should they offer? A cell phone holder for the front handlebar would be nice. Also, attachment points for a water bottle cage, perhaps on the handlebar upright? All in all, I love my new Urtopia Carbon Fold 1. It looks sharp, though I would only get the yellow version, as it aids visibility on the road, and it has a real sports car look to it. Anything else for version 2.0? Perhaps a way to adjust the front handlebar height??? Integrated shock absorber in the seat post to soften the ride??? Perhaps I am being hypercritical, but the bottom line is that I LOVE my new "Fold". I live in an apartment building in FL (no hills here) but I don't keep the bike locked in the parking garage, rather, it comes up to the apartment where I proudly display it as a work of art. Love it!

I bought the Fold 1 on Black Friday and was initially worried about the long delivery times, but to my surprise it arrived in just 3 days! The bike came largely pre-assembled out of the box, and setting it up was incredibly easy. Just attach the seat which is also a battery, and connect the wires.

Even though the weather is still pretty cold, I couldn't resist taking it for a spin around Ontario. I've already ridden it for dozens of miles and am absolutely amazed by the experience. Highly recommended!

Went to Sequoia National Park with my Carbon 1 Pro, really enjoyed the ride.
